UT Football Ushering
A significant booster club fundraiser where cadets and parents team up to provide usher services at home UT football games. This is a unique opportunity - our post is in the suites section of the stadium so its well air conditioned and usually a really fun time for the cadets involved, especially when they get to meet UT fans! Parents are needed to drive cadets to the stadium and help with the ushering. Parents are asked to cover the parking costs so the booster club maximizes their profit on this fundraiser.  Activities coordinated by a Committee Chair.

Texas 861st Yearbook
The Booster Club is putting out a yearbook just for our cadets.  The yearbook is $25 and can be ordered at any time.  Cadets are also able to make two special pages with their own photos for their personal book.  While there are many photos taken over the year, we always need more!  Feel free to share your photos with us at tx861styearbook@gmail.com.

Holiday in the Park
Christmas party event in Harper Park in Anderson Mill (December). The booster club sets up game booths and a concession stand. The cadets run the event and it’s a fundraiser for the booster club. A committee of parents is needed to help plan event.

Silent Auction & Raffle
A silent auction or raffle will be conducted online this year.  Parents are asked to donate items for auction, bid on items and buy raffle tickets to help raise funds for the booster club.  A Committee Chair conducts the auction.  This event concludes at the Spring Award Banquet.

Flamingo Fundraising
The booster club provides a service of placing plastic flamingos in yards for people who order them for their friends/family. It’s ongoing all year round and requires parents who will deliver and pick up the flamingos on potentially several nights a week. The more parents who will help with this the less each individual parent has to do. A Committee Chair coordinates this endeavor.
